The Officers of the WCVRS are elected by the membership and serve for (2) years. There are Two levels of Officers, Administrative and Operational.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS:
Administrative Officers are Corporate Officers and see to the day to day
corporate and business aspects of the Rescue Squad. Administrative
Officers are:
President: Garfield Johnson
Secretary: Elizabeth Mesec
Treasurer: Eddie Hall
Financial Secretary: Margaret Johnson
Sergeant-At-Arms: Sherman Burton
Chaplain: Granville Fisher, Charter Member
Administrative Officer Duties:
President: Responsible for the overall operation of the Corporation and Rescue Squad including the execution of budgets and plans approved by the Membership and Directors.
Secretary: maintains administration of Corporate records and activities plus prepares and/or files those Corporate reports required by Law.
Treasurer: Maintains financial records of the Corporation, pays bills, manages tax reporting, prepares budgets, and controls approved Corporate budgets and expenditures.
Financial Secretary: Assists Treasurer in the day to day acquisition of services and supplies for the Rescue Squad. Issues Purchase Orders and maintains records.
Sergeant-At-Arms: Maintains order and security for the Rescue Squad.
Chaplain: Provides for the
spiritual needs of the Rescue Squad and associated community and needed.
OPERATIONAL OFFICERS:
Operational Officers direct the operating personnel that provide active pre-hospital to patients and answer 911 calls for service.
Operating Officers are:
Captain: Gil Mesec, EMT-B
1st. Lieutenant: Denise Weaver, EMT-B
2nd. Lieutenants: Billy Jones, EMT-B & Joe Plahs, Driver
Operating Officer Duties:
Captain: Overall direction and management of operating personnel, functions, material, equipment, and Training.
1st. Lieutenant: Second in overall Command. Reports to the Captain. Primary responsibility is Training and medical equipment management.
2nd. Lieutenant: Responsible for overall maintenance of the physical elements of the squad; building, grounds, and vehicles.
